The 2026 growing season presented considerable challenges, including frost, hail and a January heatwave, yet the fruit arrived in remarkably sound condition. The finished wine captures the vintage with lifted floral aromas, subtle spice and vivid citrus characters. At 12.5% alcohol, it combines delicacy and freshness with the concentration and structure to develop gracefully in bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe fruit was picked as whole bunches in the cool of the morning and transferred directly to the press. After pressing, the juice was moved to stainless steel, allowed to settle for one to two days and then racked into fermentation tanks, where fermentation proceeded at an average temperature of approximately 15°C. Once fermentation was complete, the wine was cold-stabilised for several weeks before filtration and bottling, preserving the purity and freshness of the fruit. Citrus, lime sherbet, floral notes and subtle spice are complemented by stony mineral characters, lively acidity and impressive persistence.
