Produced using fully-ripe, intensely flavoured and structured shiraz grapes. The resulting wines have a unique Australian style, now recognised as one of the most consistent of the world's greatest wines. With an unbroken line of vintages from the experimental 1951, Grange clearly demonstrates the synergy between shiraz and the soils and climates of South Australia.

This release commemorates the 70th anniversary since Grange was first made. This item is held in a red, leather, Penfolds Gift Box.

Very deep, dark, dense colour with plenty of purple in the rim. The bouquet is classic Grange, loaded with toasty-smoky-oaky scents of smoked-meats and toasted barrels, dried herbs adding an extra fragrance, and hints of five-spice, especially star anise. It's very full-bodied and concentrated, powerful and long-lasting but the tannins are beautifully crafter and supple, harmonious, and avoid any suggestion of astringency. The core of the wine is lusciously fruit-sweet and delicious, the robe of tannin complementary rather than domineering. The finish is tremendously long and satisfying. I can enjoy drinking this now: not unusual with a new Grange release. A quite magnificent wine and a great Grange. - Huon Hooke, The Real Review, 98 Points

The Finer Details
Style - Red Wine
Varietal - Shiraz
Country - Australia
Region - Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale
Vintage - 2017
Bottle Size - 750ml
ABV - 14.5%
Peak Drinking Time - 2027-2060

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0043/9258/3217/products/penfolds-bin-95-grange-shiraz-gift-boxes.png?v=1654044321
maison-saint-aix-white-2024
Maison Saint AIX White 2024

Product Description:
A new chapter from a Provence icon, crafted at altitude for purity and lift. Maison Saint AIX is best known for its benchmark rosé, but this white shows another side of the region — one rooted in history, driven by altitude, and shaped by a pursuit of freshness. The Farrside vineyard sits on a northeast-facing slope and is composed of limestone topped with black volcanic soil, giving the wine a darker and more mineral expression than the estate’s Sangreal vineyard. Planted in 2001, the vineyard is laid out east to west to help protect the fruit from excessive sun exposure. The clonal selection includes 114, 115, 777, 667 and MV6, contributing layers of perfume, fruit depth and structural complexity. Although Farrside is only around 300 metres from Sangreal, its darker soils and cooler growing conditions mean the fruit is typically harvested 10 to 12 days later than the estate’s other Pinot Noir parcels. This slower ripening contributes to the wine’s firmer frame, savoury tone and more masculine character.

The 2024 vintage at By Farr was shaped by a mild growing season, timely vineyard support and a warm finish that allowed the reds to develop concentration, character and poise. The fruit is hand-picked and sorted in the vineyard before fermentation in open-top fermenters. Between 40 and 50 per cent of the fruit is stemmed, followed by a four-day cold soak before natural yeast fermentation. Gentle pigeage is carried out two to three times daily, depending on the level of extraction required. The wine is then transferred by gravity into 50 to 60 per cent new Allier oak barrels, where it completes secondary fermentation before extended maturation. In the glass, Farrside Pinot Noir 2024 shows a balanced array of red and black fruits, layered with spice, mineral detail, savoury complexity and fine structural tension. Partial barrel ageing adds subtle texture and gentle toasted complexity without overwhelming the purity of the fruit.

The 2024 vintage presents a clean and balanced style, combining ripe orchard fruit with citrus lift and a mineral edge. Aromas of pear, white peach, lime and delicate floral notes lead into a medium-bodied palate with smooth fruit and refreshing acidity. The wine carries a lightly creamy texture, supported by restrained oak influence and a crisp, dry finish. Its balance of freshness, fruit and gentle structure makes it a versatile choice for seafood, soft cheeses, roast chicken, creamy pasta and lighter white meat dishes. It is an excellent introduction to Laroche’s Chardonnay style beyond Chablis, offering precision, value and everyday elegance.

Tasting Notes
NOSE
– Fresh, bright and gently floral
Pear, white peach, lime, citrus peel, subtle florals and light toasted notes.

PALATE
– Medium-bodied and refreshing
Orchard fruit, white peach, citrus, gentle creaminess, soft texture and balanced acidity.

FINISH
– Crisp, clean and mineral
Lingering citrus, chalky freshness, subtle oak spice and a dry, refreshing finish.

Finer Details:
Style – White Wine
Varietal – Chardonnay
Country – France
Region – Pays d’Oc, Limoux
Vintage – 2024
Bottle Size – 750ml
ABV – 12.5%

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0043/9258/3217/files/Domaine_Laroche_Reserve_Chardonnay_2024_750ml.webp?v=1783093415
penfolds-bin-389-cabernet-shiraz-2024
Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz 2024

Cabernet structure, Shiraz richness and polished longevity define the Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz 2024. First produced in 1960 by legendary Penfolds winemaker Max Schubert, Bin 389 has become one of Australia’s most recognised Cabernet Shiraz blends. The wine is often called “Baby Grange,” partly because components are traditionally matured in barrels previously used for the preceding vintage of Penfolds Grange. The 2024 release comprises 53% Cabernet Sauvignon and 47% Shiraz, combining the varietal definition of Cabernet with the generous fruit and mid-palate weight of Shiraz. Fruit was selected from Coonawarra, Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and Padthaway, demonstrating Penfolds’ established multi-regional blending philosophy. The growing season began with below-average winter rainfall, resulting in reduced soil moisture and placing greater importance on balanced vineyard growth.

Variable spring conditions and isolated periods of high temperatures affected fruit set in the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale, while the cooler climates of Coonawarra and Padthaway moderated canopy development. December rainfall replenished the vineyards before warm and dry conditions returned from January, accelerating ripening and building concentration. A period of intense heat during March was followed by cooler April weather, allowing the winemaking team to make considered harvest decisions across the individual regions. The resulting small berries contributed concentrated flavour, savoury intensity and firm tannin structure suited to the traditional Bin 389 style. The wine was matured for 13 months in American oak hogsheads, of which 34% were new, providing sweetness, spice and structural support. Its aromatic profile combines mulberry and assorted black and red fruits with ironstone, black olive, green peppercorn, tobacco leaf, Italian herbs and lifted violet. The palate is rich and layered, revealing dark chocolate, cherry liqueur and blueberry alongside fresh acidity and silken, talc-like tannins. Powerful yet finely resolved, the wine possesses the balance, persistence and authority to develop over several decades, with Penfolds recommending a peak drinking window extending through 2051.

Tasting Notes
NOSE
– Assertive and deeply layered
Mulberry, black and red fruits, sweet spice, ironstone and black olive with green peppercorn, crème brûlée, tobacco leaf, Italian herbs, violet and lavender.

PALATE
– Rich and generously structured
Dark chocolate, cherry liqueur and blueberry with coconut and savoury squid-ink nuances, supported by vibrant acidity and finely resolved, talc-like tannins.

FINISH
– Long and authoritative
Persistent dark fruit, chocolate and savoury spice carried by fresh acidity, polished American oak and silky tannins.

Reviews & Accolades
“A classic Bin 389 with abundant cassis, blackberry fruits, lovely chocolaty textures and well-balanced roasted chestnut, vanilla, marzipan notes.” — Andrew Caillard MW, The Vintage Journal, 98 Points

“This is a highly complex and somewhat unpredictable wine that might confound lovers of this Bin, but also recruit new tasters to the fold.” — Matthew Jukes, MatthewJukes.com, 19+/20

“There is plenty of purpose, future and drive, with the big structure still dominating the narrative.
