Clean, complex, and balanced. The results of a three year maturation in re-charred ex-Australian wine cask for the Riverbourne Distillery 3 Year Old Single Malt Whisky. The distillery tend to chose less active casks with the goal to encourage the development of complex, carefully balanced flavour profiles. 

This whisky has aromas of honey, lemon, tobacco, and gunpowder team. A hot toddy with black tea flows across the palate, shifting to a long, spicy, herbal finish.

For this label, That Boutique-y Whisky Company chose a whack-a-mole theme, but instead of moles, its wombats. The distillery is surrounded by holes dug by burrowing wombats, they’ve even managed to dig into one of the sheds used for maturation.
